Squid Esports runs educational esports programs for schools, universities, homeschool families, and youth pods. This page summarises how we keep students safe, how we handle personal data, and how our curriculum is held to an international quality standard.

Three pillars guide how we design, staff, and deliver every educational esports program.
Student wellbeing first
Our programs are designed around healthy gaming habits, screen-time awareness, and emotional resilience, delivered through the EAF-accredited "Mind Your Game" curriculum.
Vetted, qualified educators
Every lead instructor in our school-facing programs is a trained educator, not just a gamer. Coaches are interviewed, reference-checked, and supervised by our academic team.
Privacy-first by design
We collect only what is needed to deliver the program, store it securely, and never sell student data. Parents and schools can request access, correction, or deletion at any time.
Plain answers to common parent questions
Are coaches safe to work with my child?
Lead instructors in school-delivered programs are trained educators. We carry out interviews, reference checks, and ongoing supervision. In-person sessions in Thailand are run in supervised pod environments.
What data do you collect about students?
For most school programs, we work with the data the school already holds (name, class, progress). For directly-enrolled families we collect contact details and basic learner information needed to run the program, no more.
How is screen time managed?
Our curriculum builds in breaks, off-screen activities, reflection, and a dedicated wellbeing module covering attention, sleep, and balance. The "Mind Your Game" program is explicitly designed around healthy habits.
How do I withdraw consent or remove data?
Parents and guardians can contact us at any time to access, correct, or delete personal data, or withdraw from a program. School-enrolled students should normally route requests through their school administrator.
What partner schools can expect from us
We bring the curriculum, the qualified instructor, and the structure. Schools keep authority over their students, their data, and their decisions.
Accredited curriculum
Our educational esports curriculum is internationally accredited by Education Alliance Finland (EAF), with documented learning outcomes and pedagogical review.
Clear roles & responsibilities
Schools remain the data controller for student information they share with us; Squid Esports acts as a processor for program delivery. Roles are agreed in writing before programs start.
Supervised, in-person delivery
In Thailand, sessions are delivered in our supervised pod facility or on-site at partner schools, with a qualified lead instructor present at all times.
Communication & community safety
Where Discord or chat tools are used, channels are moderated and structured around the class, not open community servers. Behaviour expectations are shared with students up front.
Where we deliver and how we align
Squid Esports delivers in Thailand through a local entity, and supports international partner schools online and on-site.

UK GDPR / EU GDPRWe follow GDPR-aligned practices for personal data handling, including lawful basis, data minimisation, parental consent for minors, and the right to access, correction and deletion.
United States
COPPA / FERPA referencesFor programs delivered with US schools, we support institutional workflows around student privacy, parental consent for under-13s, and education-record handling.

Thailand PDPA 2019In-person delivery in Thailand is operated by our local entity Squid Esports Co., Ltd., aligned with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) including consent for minors.
