    State of Esports Education 2026

What the provider index and the school readiness survey show about esports education this year, and what is still missing.

    Headline figures

    Providers scored
    5
    Average score
    69
    Externally accredited
    4

Figures are recomputed from the live index, so this report never disagrees with the underlying data. The school readiness survey has screened 60 candidate schools with no fully comparable review yet.

    What providers do not publish

The index only scores what is publicly verifiable. That itself is a finding: the criteria fewest providers publish are the ones schools most need before committing budget.

    School readiness

60 candidate schools were screened across Bangkok, Chiang Mai and the Pattaya area in September 2026, and not one published enough public information to resolve all six readiness signals. That is the headline finding of the first round: school esports provision in the region is effectively undocumented in public. Aggregate provision rates will be published as soon as enough comparable reviews exist.

    How to read this report

Every number here comes from the two datasets and nothing is estimated. Where a figure is missing, it is because the evidence does not exist yet, not because it was left out. The full scoring rubric, including the weight and definition of each criterion, is published alongside the index.
